Biography
Daniela Lo Presti is a Ph.D. Student in Biomedical Engineering at the Measurements and Biomedical Instrumentation Laboratory (MTMBiLAB), Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma.
She was born in Agrigento, Sicily, Italy, on May 31st, 1991. She received the M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering (MSc) cum laude from the Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, Italy in 2016.
She has been working at MTMBiLAB since 2017.
Her research activities focus on the development of measurement systems for medical applications including smart textiles based on different technologies (fiber optic sensors and piezoresistive textiles) for vital signs monitoring and fiber optic sensors functionalized by different hygroscopic materials for monitoring physical and chemical parameters (Temperature, Relative Humidity).
